That’s where AANE’s Intensive Autism Coach Training (IACT) comes in.
IACT is a four-day, in-person training designed for human service professionals and coaches who want to build more effective, neurodiversity-affirming practices for Autistic and Neurodivergent older teens and adults.
Built on AANE’s established LifeMAP Coaching Program, IACT is hands-on, applied learning rather than theory-heavy instruction.
You’ll learn how to:
  • Apply coaching strategies tailored to Autistic and Neurodivergent older teens and adults
  • Work through real-world scenarios using case-based learning
  • Support clients in achieving meaningful, self-directed goals
  • Strengthen your effectiveness in complex, day-to-day interactions
What Makes IACT Different
Most trainings end when the session ends. IACT is designed to support your work long after the four days are over.
Graduates receive:
  • Two years of clinical consultation and professional support through AANE’s Autism Professional Coaching Association (APCA)
  • Inclusion on AANE’s IACT Coach Map, increasing your visibility and referral opportunities
This combination of training, mentorship, and professional visibility is rare and highly valuable.
Enrollment is limited to just 15 participants to support individualized instruction, interactive practice, and strong peer connection.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and the program typically fills before the deadline. Early application is strongly encouraged.
